Checks before you buy

  4. Check hand length. The minute hand reaches the printed track.
  5. Ask for a movement photo. 28,800 vph equals 8 beats per second. Count them.
  6. Skip any claim of solid gold. Plated brass or plated steel is the norm at these prices.

Ownership notes
