A replica Breguet 5207 is a copy of a Breguet Classique reference. Buyers check four things: case size, dial guilloché, movement type, and buckle. No replica uses a Breguet movement. Breguet builds its calibers at its manufacture in L'Orient, in the Vallée de Joux, Switzerland.
What the 5207 is
The 5207 sits in the Classique line, Breguet's round dress family. Classique cases are 18k gold or platinum. The caseband is fluted, a pattern cut on a lathe. Lugs are welded and straight. The dial is silvered gold with hand-turned guilloché. Breguet adds a secret signature, an engraved name placed in a different spot on each model. The hands are the Breguet pattern with a hollow eccentric tip.

- Case: ask for caliper photos. Copies often run 0.5 mm to 1 mm wider than the original.
