41 mm steel case, black dial, lollipop seconds hand, a "12" on the bezel instead of numerals. Limited to 7,007 pieces. Many replicas use the standard Seamaster 300 bezel and skip the 12.
No Time to Die: Diver 300M 007 Edition
42 mm Grade 2 titanium case, 13.2 mm thick, about 50 mm lug to lug, brown dial, brown aluminum bezel insert, no date, mesh bracelet, Caliber 8806 Master Chronometer, 55 hour reserve, 15,000 gauss magnetic resistance, 300 m. Caseback text reads "We have all the time in the world."
What to check on a replica
- Case metal. Titanium is about 40 percent lighter than 316L steel. A scale settles the claim.
- Movement. Common options are Miyota 9015, Seagull ST21, or a decorated 8806 copy. The 8806 copy has no date, which matches the film watch.
- Case size. Request a caliper photo. 42 mm by 50 mm lug to lug fits wrists 6.5 in and larger.
- Bezel. 120 clicks on the Diver 300M. Backplay over 1 mm means a worn click spring.
- Water resistance. The genuine watch is 300 m. Replicas are often not pressure tested. Do not swim with one unless a watchmaker tests the seals.
- Bracelet. End links should sit flush with the lugs. Mesh bracelets on budget copies show gaps at the clasp.
