The Breguet Type XX Transatlantique reference 3820 is a steel chronograph built in the 1990s and early 2000s. Breguet based it on its Type XX pilot watches. Case diameter is about 39 mm. The movement is calibre 582, an automatic chronograph with a Lemania base. The dial carries three registers and a date window. The caseback is solid. The line ended in the 2000s.

What replica versions copy
Most replica 3820s copy the outside. That means case shape, dial print, hands, subdial layout, crown, and strap. Inside, few use calibre 582. Common movements in replica chronographs are the Seagull ST19, an ETA 7750 derivative, or a quartz module. The 3820 is a three-register watch. A quartz copy can still show three registers, so the subdial count alone proves nothing.
Older replica runs used a 40 mm or 42 mm case. Newer runs often correct the size to 39 mm. Case finishing, dial print thickness, and date font are the parts that vary most between production batches.
